I will be busy for three days working with other teachers in our district.  I'll see some of you Wednesday evening at the Speech Contest and Thursday evening at our Play.  On Friday I'll be back with you for the day!!

During Study Hall today you may find yourself done with your work.  I am gently reminding you to use your Study Hall reading or other classwork.  You have an assignment due Friday in TANGERINE...to read to p. 94.   I am including a link to a site where you can make a Crossword Puzzle.  Please choose any theme and make one if you have time.  Extra ELA Credit!!  CLick HEre---->  Crossword Puzzle Maker.

You may not use your ipads during Study Hall unless it is class connected.  Mid Trimester Progress Reports are going home in the mail next Friday.  I'll finalize your ELA grade on Wednesday next week.  I'll be collecting your Reading Record Sheets on Monday.  Please have those updated.

ELA

Today ended Round 2 of your Speeches.  Wednesday is Round 3 Day and this is optional!

8 Speakers will be moving on to the School Contest.  This number is an increase from the 6 which I thought I could choose.  Woot woot!!

I will announce the top scoring speeches overall;  by the end of the day on Wednesday I will have this number, I hope.  This will be a struggle as we had quite a number of really awesome ones!
