Now I Know

Please post your final drafts here. Please "reply" to 2 of your classmates poems. In your response to them, give them more than "I like it, good job." Offer them a thoughtful response. What did you notice about their crafting which "caught" your interest. Maybe the topic or choice of details they used. Example: Have you ever felt an earthquake? I thought your detail about Hawaii being a volcano was interesting AND you used the word "alert" which shows a good vocabulary! You are a poet!!
Now I know that hardened lava is from a volcano,
that Hawaii is a volcano,
that earthquakes can kill people.
I still want to know
when the big earthquake will come
because I want to be ready.
I’m glad I learned that volcanoes are under water
because I can be more alert.
